The first interchangeable-lens camera to use an Android operating system, the Polaroid iM1836 could make for an interesting competitor to similar cameras on the market. The camera comes with a 10-30mm zoom lens and offers WiFi sharing, a 3.5-inch touch screen, and 1080p video. The camera body itself, though, was made of such a lightweight plastic that it felt more like a toy than an amateur's first step into more serious photography should.
The camera is expected to hit store shelves in Spring 2013 for $400.
