Just bought Rock Band II bundle for the wii for my nephew for Christmas -- I hope I made the right choice. I heard Guitar Hero wasn't all that great on a wii.
1mollyparnis--just thought I would let you know, I have both games. You made a good choise. I have both games and play Rock Band twice as much and there is so much more downloadable content. He'll love I promise.
I don't understand why Guitar Hero World tour has two spots. I mean Guitar Hero Deserved a spot! It was the best in the series.
2How it's possible, sims is not there ?! It's not the best game but it's one of the best sellers games, it should be in the list.

6Where the hell is Contra? If you're going old school, it is easily one of the BEST on the NES. I am so disappointed- I think the only reason why you can't get the original on the Wii to download is they haven't figured out how to get the Konami code to work.
I also agree with Glynis- Guitar Hero deserves a spot, but now it's just old. It was fresh when the first two came out, but now little kids play it wearing licensed t-shirts. Yawn.
7The best video game of all time is Left 4 Dead! How is that not on the list?! Was it omitted because it is only for PC and xbox360? It is by far superior to any of the Killer Classics named in the poll. I was so excited to vote in the polls, but without L4D...I just don't know.
8UMMMMM... What about Final Fantasy? Not one of them is in there and there are 12+. Thoroughly disappointing. And Arkham Assylum should be get a spot in there too.

11I'm going to second @bleached — I can't believe that not a single Final Fantasy game made the list, or really, any RPG besides WoW (which is MMO so it doesn't count), i.e., no Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Vagrant Story, Disgaea, Tales of..., etc. Also, where was Katamari Damacy?

49Guitar Hero. I like the sets and song selections better than the ones available on Rock Band. I think they're more well-rounded and cover more decades and genres.
