Palm's Pixi, just landed in stores across the country, and it's already dropped to $25 on Amazon. That's right, if you sign up for a new two-year contract plan from Sprint, you can save quite a bit of money off the original price tag. I know most of you weren't over excited about the Pixi, but for $25, I can't help but recognize this impressive deal.
And not only that, but you can also head on over to Amazon and get the Palm Pre for $80 — again, with a new service plan from Sprint.
Both phones include a free activation deal that is good until Nov. 23.

It isn't worth the $25 dollars. I have the Pre and it has been getting slower and slower since I first bought it. The Pixi (when I played with it in store) is already as slow as my Pre is now. The hype was not worth it. There are some interesting features (multiple apps) but it takes just as long (if not longer) to go from email to text on my Pre as it does to close out of email, click messages and go to texts on an iPhone. If you want a quality phone on Sprint, go for something other than the Pre/Pixi. I wouldn't even recommend it to my enemies.
1totally agree with buff babe. Webos is great on paper, but after 4 months of use, I'm so ready to get rid of my pre. I love sprint though so I'm either going android with the htc hero or blackberry with the bb curve 8530. (no wifi on the bb tour is a dealbreaker).
2I do not like the Pre at all. I've never been a fan of Palm. On top of that, I did not like the service I got from Sprint!
$80 is unbelievable though!
