Vintage Geek Fix: Oregon Trail Coming to the iPhone!

It's time to get your oxen hitched and your cholera vaccinations scheduled! Oregon Trail, the classic video game that you let you simulate the arduous cross-country feat of our forefathers, is being readied to come to the iPhone.

So far, the only details are screenshots from IGN, but I can't wait for this to come to the App Store. I'm already picking out the names of the people who'll be in my covered wagon.

i totally loved this game! me and my friend always named the youngest child bobby and he always managed to die from something or another (one time from a broken leg i think!). i have an ipod touch so i will so be getting this!

this is the best iphone news in a while. i just hope it's fairly true to the original. nothing beats being told you have died from dysentery without any warning.
