Wowzas! In just over a month, Oprah Winfrey has signed up for Facebook and has now logged on to Twitter. Her best bud Gayle King has also gotten in on the action and is trying to help Ashton reach his one million followers goal. By the sounds of it, Oprah will be using a portion of her live show tomorrow to discuss the micro blogging phenomenon. And how do we know for sure? Ashton has already Twittered about his cameo on the show.

this is annoying because the hoopla is crashing the service. what good is tweeting about a traffic accident if the system can't handle the tweets? i hate that they are bringing all this attention to twitter. ruining a good thing. just like facebook was ruined when they let everyone in. including advertisers.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who feels this way. Don't they know how obvious it is that they are only doing it for publicity? Besides, her team of assistants are the only ones who touch a keyboard!
