Offi Mag Table: Mod Laptop Desk Option

As someone who admittedly blogs in uncomfortable places - namely the couch, the living room floor and my bed - I am whole heartedly enchanted by this Offi Mag Table that doubles as a laptop desk. It was originally created as a side table or seat with storage, but as Apartment Therapy notes, it can be rotated on it's side for use as a laptop table.

A similar model is being sold from Mod Seed for $139.

it would be cool if it was the only one, but there have got to be better options. and how is it different than a normal table? you'll still be straining your back hunched over for hours.

I own this! It's very, very practical. I paid less than $139 though. I think around $125. I've used it as a coffee table (the side is great for storing magazines) and as a laptop table. The only problem I have had is that it's not that sturdy for laptops. It doesn't replace a table for sure.

That would be great at home and in all those meetings with no tables yet loads of paperwork! Maybe something collapsible though, I'd look pretty weird if I rolled that thing on in!
