Can You Spot the Photoshop?

I am pumped for the return of the blood-sucking, werewolf-hunting HBO hit True Blood (what, did you think I was going to say Eclipse?), and these collectible posters that have been floating around the show's Facebook page are just another reminder that we're only 10 days away from the premiere.

However, I'm a little disappointed in the Photoshop job in this particular poster. Was it meant to be obvious? Not quite a Photoshop Disaster, but . . .

I have to agree geeksugar, I thought it could have been a little more subtle and still just as obvious.

Grafixgirl, while I admit they wanted people to be able to pick out Bill's face. Come on. Its a terrible job. Really. As someone who teaches, 10 year olds how to do this (I know a real job skill), I think they do a better job.

@mallorycurtis That's the point. If he was put in front, it's too obvious. They want you to have to look, but not too hard. Again...it's just an advertising trick.

@grafixgrrl if they wanted to do that, they should have put his face on the middle front guy's body since your eye naturally goes there first. they could have made it look more real while still making sure the focus is on him.

As a graphic designer and PhotoShop user myself, I believe it was definitely meant to be obvious. It's an advertising trick, so Bill's face stands out. It's making a statement about him that you are supposed to get quickly.
