The New Pink iPod and the Rest of the Colorful iPod Family

Products on the Apple site always look so pristine and beautiful, but what do they really look like in "real life"? iLounge got their hands on not one, not two, but ALL of the iPod colors, so we can compare as we dare. As you can see, the new third-generation pink nano isn't as bright as its earlier pink model. . . I actually like that it's a tad subdued — what do you think? Hopefully this helps you narrow down what color you want next in your nano collection. I love love LOVE the periwinkle blue!

@amers230 ... The two iPods that you are thinking of are 3rd gen iPod Nanos. If you look at a 3rd gen Nano and a classic next to each other, the former looks like a smaller version of the latter. As a matter of fact, that is essentially what it is: a smaller version of the iPod classic ... nothing more, and nothing less! :-) With the one difference that you have already noticed; the 3rd gen Nano comes in colours, while the classic does not! :-)

I love ALL the colours! :-) But my very favourite is the Kelly green, 5th gen iPod Nano. My second favourite (as iPods, both past and present, go) is mint green or "Kermit the Frog" green. And, @mfern64, you're entitled to your opinion, but with all due respect ... I CAN'T BELIEVE that you don't like mint green! :-) I would say that my third favourite would be purple! ;-)

I wish I held out for the pink one. So cute. I ended up with the mint green because the kids already had my first 2 color choices, baby blue and silver.

verily: thanks that's what i thought, but i've never really paid attention to the nano so yeah. i wish they would come out with colors for the ipod classic :(
