Google just introduced a bunch of helpful updates to Google Calendar aimed at making the service easier to use. The latest version is cleaner and simpler and includes a few helpful new features. Google Calendar pages got a slight design change, too, making them look more like pages in other Google apps, and the most-used features were moved to the top of the page for easy access.

There are two notable new features: a new tool that helps you find the best time for an event or meeting, and a much easier interface for creating reoccurring events. The find a time feature was originally released as a Google Calendar lab but has made its way into the app full-time. It allows you to quickly view friends' or co-workers' schedules to best schedule a meeting time by showing potential conflicts and suggesting a time that works for all attendees.
Google also introduced some behind-the-scenes changes to help Calendar work better within your browser. Schedule on!
