New Facebook Photo Pages: Love 'Em or Leave 'Em?

Facebook promised some big changes when they decided to revamp the photo pages, and this weekend the updates were rolled out to all users. New photos are displayed in a slideshow format, accentuating each photo and allowing for high resolution.

I'm loving the simple and photo-centric approach Facebook is now using — but what do you think?

Ehhh I hate it. I didn't ask for a CoolIris-like effect, yet Facebook decided to give me one. To me, the reason I put my photos on Facebook is for the resulting social interaction, not to see beautiful photos! And I think Facebook should focus on that. The human relationships, not the photos in themselves.

DiSLIKE! It's very annoying. When i click on email links from my phone, it goes to m.facebook or touch.facebook. those two site don't have all the features so i find myself clicking the link to go to the main site. viewing the lightbox from the phone is a nightmare. you can't press the close box, it thinks you are trying to go to the next photo. I can't even click on the tagged names, the box keeps moving or it think i'm trying to go to the next page. If i press the android back button, it thinks i am trying to go to the previous photo. the light box on the touch.facebook site is just as annoying When i use it from the my computer's brower everything works but it's added functionality that is not needed.

Hate it! The black background looks awful with the otherwise clean, simple blue and white scheme. I like that albums now load all on one page, but I don't like the new pop-up-style photo viewer. They've also taken away the ability to drag a picture onto your desktop (at least in my browser) so now you either have to take a screencap or click Download Photo which will obviously be tracked... yet another example of how facebook's "improvements" always manage to make things a little bit worse.
