Although I know not everyone is an iPhone adopter, I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say that the App Store has made my life so much easier this year. I can hop on to Amazon, manage my Netflix Queue, read the latest headlines, and even check my Facebook from anywhere, just with a touch of the screen.
