NBC's The Cape Premieres on DC Comics iPad App

Waaay back in May during network television's upfronts (where the networks reveal their new schedules to potential advertisers), NBC revealed The Cape, a Batman-esque series that follows a framed cop who takes on the identity of his son's favorite comic book hero to seek revenge. Now, in a first for any major network TV show, NBC is set to premiere The Cape on an iPad app. The free DC Comics iPad app, to be exact.

The first hour of the two-hour premiere is available on the app through Jan. 8. The full premiere episode of The Cape debuts this Sunday, Jan. 9 on NBC.
