Mass Storage Stone: Totally Geeky or Geek Chic?
by POPSUGAR Tech 30
The earthy cousin of the wooden memory sticks the Mass Storage Stone is an external hard drive inspired by nature. While it's still a concept, Michael Leung hopes to create a portable 4 GB hard drive that fits into your pocket, and has similar qualities to a stone - textured and slightly cold to touch. Do you like the natural feel and idea or do you think a stone looks preposterous next to a computer? I happen to think the metaphor of things being stored in a stone is fantastically geek chic - but that might be the geologist in me.
