If you're as Twitter-obsessed as I am, you'll love the Twitter Mac app, which allows you to see your stream, direct messages, and @ replies, all in one place, right on your desktop. It's no Twitter powerhouse like Tweetdeck or Hootsuite, and I'm kind of irked by the fact there's no text box to write in (you have to use a keyboard shortcut), but it's a fast and easy-to-use app that I'm already getting addicted to.

apple finds new ways to eat up my money all the time. but hey, i gotta give them credit. the mac app store is pretty swank, and im loving the twitter app.

I wonder if this means people's Macs will now be as cluttered as their iPhones? I imagine the consequences are more extreme on a desktop, at least for the performance of their machine.
