Love It or Leave It? Purse Organizer

If you are constantly switching between purses, laptop bags, clutches, work bags, beach bags, handbags (you get the idea), then this purse organizer could be something you may find quite handy! I see this is a really old thread, but anyway............. I recently bought a Butler Bag and love it! http://www.thebutlerbag.com/order.html I'm thinking about getting a purseket for my other handbags though as I used to use smaller purses, and now I use medium sized to larger purses and hate not being able to find things easily. I'm not about to get rid of my other purses, I just need to find a way to organize their contents.

How much stuff do women typically carry in their purses? My mother has every cubic inch filled with something, it seems... I, on the other hand, bring along my cellphone (and sometimes a headset), folding knife, keys, digital camera, wallet, some peppermint penny candies, a tube of lip balm, some dental floss... sometimes my MP3 player and headphones. Earbud and over-the-ear (at the conch) headphones drive me crazy, so both my cellphone's headset is headband-style. I don't tend to carry my good headphones with me because they're so large. I keep my waller in an inner zippered compartment; my cellphone, keys, knife, peppermint candies, and lip balm on the outer zippered pouch; my digital camera, and dental floss are loose in my purse. I keep enough coins to make exact change two times over in the coinpurse of my wallet. (I make every purchase I can on a credit card and if I know that I'll be somewhere that only takes cash, I'll stop by an ATM beforehand. Otherwise, the driver carries less than $20.) If I can ever make the decision of what DSLR to get, I'll get a camera bag for it, but that baby won't be going to the grocery store with me. I used to carry body jewelry with me, but I removed all of my piercings except for my earlobes (but I wear the jewelry full-time).

I think part of being a girl is to rummage through your purse for your car keys or wallet or such, I mean, the organisation is great - but when you take your car keys out and want to put them back in, you also have to mind where it goes... With this, a purse sounds like a pretty wrapping material over the organised contents - rather than a bag thats meant to hold all the contents in../.

I'm actually on my second one. I bought my first 4 years ago, wore it out (I'm a chronic purse changer) and then picked up a replacement at the Container Store last week. I've also bought them as Christmas Gifts. Can't say enough good things about it. It's been a lifesaver and always entertains people when they get a glimpse inside my purse.

it's a bit eggs in one basket, as in lose it and you lose everything. but i wouldn't mind hanging this up somewhere at home so i know where i have left things!

Love it. But I'd have to alter one of the pockets so my cell phone fits as the organizer is 5" and my phone is 3.5/4". I might get one.

I have one. I believe the original one I have is called Purseket. It didn't exactly work the way I wanted it to, but I think it's more because I was using it in a diaper backpack's front pocket as opposed to a purse. The shape of the purse makes a difference.

oh! I've seen one of these on craftster a while ago (like, last year?) I've always wanted to make one but I've been too lazy :P I'll post a link to the how-to/tutorial once I find it :D
