The colour spread clearly, strong primer and clean. Can be said the courfull home.
He should use the big green flat board as the flooring. Then he could make lego furniture to match... How cool would that be.
I believe it's possible that James May wanted to recreate the "look and feel" of LEGO houses he used to build when he was a boy. The "layered color bands"-style is quite common amongst kids. Each of them usually devellops this style by parallel evolution, based on only a limited stack of bricks available, in an assortment of several colors, and still have the desire to build a somewhat logic and visually pleasing assembly.
Totally wild and awesome!!! I am an artist and an art teacher and appreciate color where ever I am. I say " why not and way cool ". Coloring outside the lines is where it's at!

what a staggering and depressing failure of imagination to turn lego pieces into big blocks and stack them into a bigger box. totally lame.
Well, I can't vouch for his choice of colors and I don't really understand why the bricks are stacked the way they are.
