Maybe there's someone who's always admiring your amateur photography skills, or maybe they are a photography nut themselves. Or maybe you just want to set your parents' digital photo library free? Either way, photo gifts are a fun and creative idea for Christmas.
Unfortunately, personalized presents and procrastination are two things that don't really go together. But if you're still looking for a last-minute present that's not a gift card, don't fret: there's still time today and tomorrow to make and ship these photo gifts in time for the big reveal. Want to see where you can get designing? Check out where and what you can still buy in time for Christmas after the break!
There are dozens of photo gifts available on Snapfish, Shutterfly, and Kodak that will arrive on Christmas Eve if you order today or tomorrow. These are some of my favorites; they aren't kitschy and can be a great way to display your own art or surprise someone who has been practicing all of our great photography tips this year:
- Photobooks. These are great to commemorate a specific event, but I like them best as a coffee table book of your most creative shots. You can quickly add photos and captions with a site's template or customize your own layout.
- Calendars. Mark the beginning of the new year with a calendar based on a theme or 12 of your best vacation scenery photos.
- Photo canvases. Blow up that great pic and gift it to someone who needs help with their bare walls.
- Playing cards. These are a cute and inexpensive way to make someone's poker night that much more fun.
