Juicy Couture Laptop Bag: Neither Juicy, Nor Couture: Discuss

Is it a little icy in Hades today? It really makes me wonder because this Juicy Couture laptop bag ($195) is not covered in pink, purple, velor, or suede. I am so used to seeing this or this that I had to do a double take on the brand. It's confusing.

Instead, this bag is vaguely masculine (save for a few pieces of removable flair), and pretty rough and ready — kind of Girl Scout chic.

The black canvas and gold and leather accouterments make this bag a little more industrial than I usually go for, but it looks substantial — and dare I say I like it more than their usual offerings?! I dare. I totally dare.

I believe this bag gives us girls back our power. All girl arent all about pink, purple & baby blue. Some of us like to take back our power and be able to hold a nice strong bag that doesnt say i just painted my nails.

Juicy's stuff is so fru-fru usually, I agree this is somewhat out of left field for them. Even though the bag is different than their usual look, it's rather ick to me. Can't they get anything right!?

I definitely don't like this. It is just so bland compared to everything else they make! I would expect something cute and girly! The color is too dark and the material doesn't seem right for a lap top bag.

yeah this doesn't look like a juicy bag-take off the buttons and I would think it was from Wal-Mart very mass produced, not a signature Juicy look at all.

I prefer knomo laptop bags. The style is cleaner and more stylish. They also have pockets for everything. I got an new laptop after finally giving up my previous laptop after seven years. I had a flimsy cover and dropped my laptop. It survived and I decided to indulge. They are pricey, but I don't indulge often.

It doesn't scream, "I'm a laptop bag!" which is good, but I wouldn't even use this as a regular purse.

I don't like their normal stuff much, I find it kind of gaudy. (But then again I think Versace is too gaudy. :P) I still think I am hung up on the Kate Spade one you posted the other day... This is just a bit too high-school backpack-turned-laptop case for me, but with a way higher pricetag.
