I'm Sorry, I Don't Know Anything About Computers Either

This is a hilarious super old Apple Computers commercial. Two of my favorite lines include "I speak 7 languages but I can't understand this" and "I'm sorry, I don't know anything about computers either." Nowadays we could never use that as a line. Everyone, including their five year old brother and their eighty year old grandmother know about computers. Isn't it amazing how technology has infiltrated our lives since the early 80's?!

When I worked as an IT Director in the corporate world, I used to roll my eyes and mutter "If I had a dollar for every time someone says 'I don't know anything about computers'"... Now I run my own Networking/Support business, and when someone calls me out for help and stands behind me as I work and says "I don't know anything about computers" I just smile to myself and add $1 to my work estimate.

That's what I don't like about Mac's: they are really dumbed down. I feel like I can do less with them.

If ONLY we couldn't get away with that. I work tech support and the most popular lines seem to be: "I don't know anything about computers." "I'm computer illiterate." "I'm an idiot when it comes to computers."
