How To Save and Share iPhoto Slideshows

So you've got all these great pics in iPhoto slideshow format and now you want to showcase them to others. Here are a few simple steps to follow that will have you sharing your pic collections in no time!

Click on the slideshow you want to save and share
Go to file export
Type in a name for your slideshow next to save as

For two more steps, just read more

Choose a size for your slideshow. Keep in mind that the larger the size, the bigger the file will be
Click the export button
The final export will be a quicktime move that can be watched on both PCs and Macs. You will be able to send this file as an email attachment or you can burn it to a CD or DVD.

Hello ... I have followed the instructions but keep getting the following error: "The operation cannot be completed because the item cannot be found." Can anyone help?

I know you meant well but really this "option" is ridiculously lacking.We spend a lot of money getting cameras with good optics to recordsharp and colorful images, so outputting these high quality imagesinto a 480x640 quiktime movie (sorry but that's the largest option available in the latest version of iphoto) is one sorry "option".First, the color is just pathetic, diluted hues, contrast and sharpness. Second the images display so small, especially on a high dot pitch/pixel monitor screen, that it diminishes the impact of your photographic efforts.I am personally incensed that Apple would put out a product like this, knowing that its demographic buyers include a heavily weighted segment of the photographic community.I now have to figure out what program to buy that will allow me to build a slideshow and export it at a sufficiently large size and sufficiently high quality that I don't feel I've completely compromised the efforts I've put in creating the images.Not too happy here...Is there a workaround or hack to get the slide show exported?

Do you know how to get around the rule that prevents one from being able to make a DVD of a slideshow with the music purchased through iTunes? Thanks, Pat
