Talk about a quirky alarm clock! The Hold Your Applause Alarm Clock ($30) is quite incognito. At first glance, it appears to be a simple black, decorative wood cube. But when you clap, it suddenly turns into a digital clock, displaying the time in red digital numbers.

The clock is a two-inch cube, which is smaller than it appears in photos, and requires two AAA batteries. I think it's cute — and perfect for travel. What do you think?
