High-Heel Phone: Love It or Leave It?

Despite the fact that most of us have ditched our landlines, I can't help but be amused by this High-Heel Phone ($22).

I could make an excuse, like I love it in an ultra-ironic, so bad it's good kind of way, but really it's just that it's totally the kind of "big-girl" thing I would have loved as a kid and I've never really gotten over any of that stuff.

What do you think — retro-cute or '80s in the worst way?

i think that it's cute if i were like 13 years old. i think that i actualy had a phone that looked JUST like this when i was younger but now - i think that i'm a bit too old to even pull it off with being cute.

i love it, but i'd prefer the buttons and speaker were on the bottom so you could wear the shoe, maxwell-smart style...

I had a high heel phone back in the '80's! Actually had two, a black and a red one. Don't remember the cord connecting like this one though... but I remember if you put the shoe down there was a little button that would disconnect the call. Mine didn't have the little bow, and the heel was shorter too. I love quirky phones, but I'm not so hot on the shape of this one.
