Google Street View at the 2010 World Cup

Check Out 2010 World Cup Stadiums and Host Cities With Google Street View

When the Winter Olympics came to Vancouver, Google mapped the downhill ski slopes, and now it's using Google Street View to map another timely sports venue, the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The new additions include pictures from seven of South Africa’s new football stadiums, including Soccer City in Johannesburg,
Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, and Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. Each includes a 360-degree view of the venue.

Plus, you can also check out host cities and stadiums in 3D by turning on the 3D buildings layer in Google Earth or switching to Earth View in Google Maps. All 10 stadiums have this feature, so choose the one you'd like to explore and zoom in! All of these enhanced locations are available at maps.google.com /exploresouthafrica.
