The Google Phone To Debut Early Next Year

For those of you who practiced some serious restraint and decided to save your pennies for the second gen iPhone, behold the next superstar device which might make you change your mind: The Google phone. No word on specs yet, but I'm going to take a wild guess and assume it will be jammed packed with lots of Google apps goodies that will rock anyone's online world. Supposedly Google has been working with Taiwan’s High Tech Computer (HTC) Corp to make this Linux-based phone far superior to the iPhone. And yes, it will be here in less than a year. via techfresh

WOAH! I love it! It's even sexier than the iPhone! I hope it's not on stupid Cingular/AT&T. If it's true to the Google spirit, it will be available for all carriers.

ooooo pretty. I think I want this one. Even though I love my iMac and iPod, something turns me off from the iPhone. I wonder which carrier they will partner with.

Am I going to be forced to use terrible horrible no-good AT&T with this phone too? If so, I pass. (If Verizon is involved, then I'm on board.)

Is this a confirmed rumor... That Google is making a phone? I've heard it debunked a few times. But I would totally love it if they did make one.

somehow not that appealing for me...brands that normally do not make electronic stuff and just put their names in phones(like prada by LG) never interests me

I'm addicted to my BB, and even though I am a huge Apple freak, there is no way I am spending the dough to buy an iphone on ATT (ps: they suck). I think I'm going to pass on a Google phone though...love me some BB.

Maybe they'll be smart and make it available for multiple providers. I loves me some Mac goodness, but the Cingular exclusive thing was a big downer. I'll definitely wait to see what this one's all about.
