Photo gifs, sped-up stop-motion-style looped animations, seem to make the Internet go round. You've seen gifs cut from favorite movie scenes or animals running around in silly circles, so now get started on making your own right from an iPhone. The Gif Shop iOS app ($1) turns what can be a complicated process for novice gif makers into a few simple taps of a phone's screen.

Gif Shop uses the iPhone's camera app to stitch together up to 100 photos to create an animation at the speed of your choice. It is as easy as pointing the lens at the object and tapping the middle of the camera screen to take a photo.
