When I really want to rock out I connect my iPod to the Apple iPod Hifi, which delivers style and quality sound. If you're looking for something smaller and fun consider the mStation, a small, spherical and colorful speaker that's perfect for your desktop, dorm room or small closet-sized studio.

Priced at $129, the mStation is significantly less expensive than most other iPod speakers - except perhaps the Hello Kitty ones, which deliver their own set of benefits - but of course, the lower price point and small shape means a lower quality sound and functionality. That being said, the shape is painfully cute and the silver, black and white models are actually pretty chic. read more

The mSpeaker has 30 watts of peak power and is 7.5" in diameter. It comes in green, blue, white, black, silver, pink and a red model coming soon.

It's easy to use, has a remote for control and works with any model iPod (it comes with a selection of top covers to fit each iPod model.)

I bought a pink one awhile ago for a friend of mine with a baby girl. It looks so adorable in her pink nursery. She plays lullabies on it for her baby. I'm thinking about buying one for myself too. The sound is really amazing.
