Geeksugar's Retro Gadgets Round-Up

After asking you readers to geek out and share your favorite retro gadgets, I have compiled a list of all the great submissions. They include everything from vintage gadgets to telephones and alarm clocks, which all appear retro but also boast many modern-day features.

When I asked readers how much they would spend on a retro phone, I was surprised to learn that a majority of you would not spend your money on old-fashioned gadgets. And when I say old-fashioned, I'm talking about the ones that you'd find at your grandmother's house. Rotary. Dial up. You know the kind.

this is sad but true my auntie gets upset if i i am on my cell phone when she calls - she says she can always tell when someone is on a cell phone. well there was this retro receiver gizmo that allows me to plug it into my cell phone headphone jack --- and hey --- she has no clue i am on my cell phone when i talk to her now. (unless she reads this that is)

I've always loved that black retro phone. I think they have that at pottery barn and its sooo cute!

LOL.. That red receiver is so cute. Imagine taking it out of your handbag and talking somewhere in the public. People would think you are crazy, just pretending that you talk, but it would be connected to your mobile phone. :P LOOOOOOOOOOL Would love to have that to tease my friends ;)
