Did you know that you can free up a ton of space on your computer by eliminating extra language resources? With the free download Monolingual (for Mac only), you can get rid of languages you're fairly sure you're never going to need (especially if you're pretty sure you're never going to resell your laptop).
Monolingual says you can get back "several hundred megabytes of disk space" — so you can use it for more useful things.

I love this tip. When I do fresh installs of the OS I also go through options to turn off Printer Drivers that will never be needed as well as the extra fonts (they are language fonts not anything fun). For those of you that don't use Garageband there is nearly 3GB's of data sitting in your /MacintoshHD/Library/ApplicationSupport/Garageband folder as well. I remove this on all my client machines (well the non creative clients).
1Cool, thanks
2sweeeet thanks
3they have afrikaans? wow.
4is this a permanent removal?
