Tight squeeze, eh Sony? Some new promo pics of the new VAIO P Series Lifestyle PC have enraged some Japanese bloggers who are ashamed by the ad's unrealistic size portrayal.
Considering it is the world's lightest 8-inch notebook, it's not totally outlandish to assume it might be able to fit in the pocket of a pair of jeans. But then again, Jimmy Fallon could barely fit it in his jacket pocket, which leads to me believe a pair of my hip hugging jeans would definitely be out of the question. What do you think? Are you more ticked off that it's not small enough to carry in a pocket, or are you peeved that the ad is inaccurate?

If they made cute DS-style cases for it I'd just throw it in my purse. It's probably best not to carry a $900 anything in your back pocket, unless it has a 200 lb. weight limit.
1I'm trying to figure out why anyone would want to carry a laptop around in their jean pocket in the first place.
2Ads are never accurate, and that doesn't make the computer huge. I still think it's kind of impressive.

4I think while it's ridiculous to make that ad, it's not like I'm in the habit of wanting to put my laptop in my pocket. I don't even like to carry my cell in my pocket. :/

I think it's very good laptop size for women-or men to carry in a bag tho. No need for ugly laptop bags.

*IF* I was going to buy one and I intended for it to fit in my back pocket, yeah, I'd be pissed. But aside from that, being "enraged" over an ad like this isn't going to happen.

13yea, i wouldnt put a laptop in my back pocket, or any pocket so it's not that big of a deal to me. i'd probably put it in my purse though.. but anything that can "barely" fit in a back pocket will fit in my purse with room to spare
14I don't really care about the ad, I want to know where I can get my hands on one! a small laptop is genius.
I don't do PC's, though, I wish Apple would take note of this.
