I've posted about wooden gadgets and accessories before, but this product is a little more rustic than most. The Enchanted Woods iPod Dock ($98) is made from authentic hickory and branches and is a docking station only — no speakers.
It's sold at Anthropologie, a store better known for its pretty dresses than gadgets. While I'm not a huge fan of this dock, I suppose it could look at home in a rustic ski lodge or cabin in the woods. What do you think?
Vivienne Westwood
Leave it! Why would I need this?? I just charge it with the cord. Maybe if it had speakers... maybe. Eh, probably not even then.
1This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
2Not even in a "rustic cabin in the woods".
3A friend of mine sent me the link to this with the description - "I think this is what kids do in shop class instead of making shelves now".
I'm in shock that it's $98! Maybe if it had a few card slots and the stick had more branches so you could hang all of your jewelry on it it would be worth $98.
4Thanks, but no thanks.
Why would I spend that much on something I can go out in my backyard
and pick up.
5I think it's cute. I'll have forest themed Christmas decorations this year, so that would fit. But yes, I would totally make it myself!
