Is Your Doctor Wired?

0

Everything's online these days, including your health. But sometimes it seems like the hospital is one of the last places to get on the tech train. My previous doctor was in the midst of the transition from paper to online while I was a patient, which meant a lot of confused faces (them) and patiently sitting on an exam table in a paper outfit (me) while the staff tried to look up my health records on the exam room computer.

My current doctor's office is still very much almost all hard copy, with walls of patient folders, numerous forms to check off and sign, and clipboards galore. Other hospitals hand out iPhones to help their doctors access patient information. What is your doctor's office like?
