Droid X Availability Set For August 5 Delivery
Droid X Still Sold Out in Stores; Home Delivery Set For August 5
Despite Apple's attempts to level the playing field with its competitors, it seems that the Droid X sales are going strong. After being sold out online on the first day of availability, the smartphone has been sold out in stores for the past few weeks, with supply to Verizon stores being depleted in order to fill pre-order backlogs. In fact, it seems the quickest way to get your hands on a Droid X is to take to the Internet and order one online — home delivery dates have been set to August 5, while Verizon locations won't be receiving anymore handsets until the backorders have been satisfied.
