Droid R2-D2 Edition Sale

If you've been holding off on buying your own limited-edition Droid R2-D2 phone (why?), here's a good reason to head for your credit card now: Verizon has dropped the price on the Star Wars-themed device to $100.

But that's not all: Verizon is also discounting the price on several other Android devices, like the Samsung Fascinate and the now-infamous Droid Incredible. While this could be a strategic move to get more Androids out the door before the Verizon iPhone 4 drops next week, I like to think that it's a sweet gift from Verizon to all of us during the short month of love.
