I'm personally a Kindler, though i like the aesthetics of the Nook when it comes down to it, all i want an e-reader for is for exactly that, reading. The backlit screen on the Nook gets tiring after a while, just like using a computer or tablet. I like the fact that with the Kindle it feels like you're reading an actual book, the pearl e-ink technology is wonderful in comparison to the e-ink the Nook uses. I guess it all depends on what you want it for. Plus Amazon kindle has got to have the best customer service i've ever received in my whole life. it's 24 hours a day and they are all really nice.

You can also read for free in a B&N store. The Starbucks at B&N offers coupons for Nook users.

woohoo nook all the way! not only is it in color, but i like if i have a question, i can go visit someone at b&n and talk to them face to face, have them show me the details, and more. with my old kindle, all i got was a phone call and no one to show me. lame. go nookcolor! i love it!
