Did You Get Fit From Your Wii Fit?

I was pretty surprised to hear that Wii Fit has just beaten Grand Theft Auto IV in video game sales — who woulda thunk it that the Nintendo-exercising contingent would best the shoot-em-up contingent?

If you followed my progress, you'd know that I lost a few pounds and gained some skills in my month-long Wii Fitness challenge, so I'm a believer, but that was several months ago.

While I did it largely as an experiment, I want to know if those of you who helped beat GTA IV and bought the Wii Fit, have actually gotten fitter as a result. Do tell!

I've got it for a month, I've lost weight and feel fit after playing it continuously (3-4 times a week, 30min-1hour per time) It helps keep you on track.

I have lost weight with it, but I was away for a month and haven't really picked it back up since I returned.

If I stick to it, I do notice a difference in how fit I feel, but I just have a hard time sticking to it, I guess. I exercise more in the summer. I think I have the winter blahs and it isn't even winter yet.

I tried my own 30 day thing when I got mine (as of this morning I'm on day 52). I really didn't lose very much weight from it. It's lots of fun and keeps me active but I lost only 2 pounds. Even now on day 52 I didn't lose as much as I was hoping. I am now pairing it with DDR hottest party 2 and ordered Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum and All Star Cheer Squad

I've lost over 10 lbs. since getting mine. Not just from using it, I do other workouts, but it helps keep you on track.

Just grab one off of ebay from a reputable seller...it's cheaper than the stores and you can even get them with the bundle including the Wii system + the Wii Fit for under $400.
