I have one of these (in white) and I gotta say... I love it. It is easier on my neck than leaving my laptop on my lap or a table and lightweight/portable to drag around the house or outside.

I have one of these, too. I have the one in white. It's awesome. I also use it as a bedside table when I feel like being lazy and eating in bed.

I bought one of these at Ikea probably a year and a half ago and I use it EVERY day. I love it!

I think it's a good idea, but the most of the reason (other than travel) that I have a laptop is to lounge around while using it, or to be outside. If I want it on a desk, I use my desktop.

I would love to have one of these! It really is not easy to type while sitting on the couch, and I do it more than I'd care to admit. Plus this way you can just roll it away when you're done; great if you don't have room for a desk.

Well, the price looks a lot less nice when you see that they charge $20 for shipping and $5 for taxes. Turns into a $50 table. :\

I wish I would have known about this a year ago. I ended up just buying the "table-mate". It works well but it is not as cute as this one.

I was getting pretty irritated trying to find something like this online - I almost gave up and bought the (practical but admittedly, no offense, unattractive!) TableMate until I saw the "Dave!"

Then I went online to purchase the Dave... (the closest Ikea to me is 5 hours away) and they weren't selling the black one online. Grr!

NOW! For those of you who have been waiting! Go back over to Ikea.com, because Dave - in both white AND black - is finally purchasable online! Hoorah!

Poorly made, but you get what you paid for. I purchased this from IKEA for only 17.99. The concept of the design is cool. I love the fact that it is small and does not have the tri-pod legs like most laptop table. The table top is not very adjustable; only allow you one tilt option. It does allow you to move the table up and down, but still very limited. In addition, it is not sturdy ... AND my laptop/mouse constantly slides down. Overall, I am disappointed in this product. I would have thought coming from a well know retailer, the company would have put much more thought behind the design. I definitely suggest putting out a little more cash for better quality. You definitely get what you paid for with this item.
