I think this graphic is being misunderstood. It's not saying 300 million people in the U.S. use facebook, that's the total number of people who live here. The graphic shows that if the number of people who use facebook populated a country, it would be the fourth most populus country in the world.That is, Facebook has more users than Indonesia has citizens.

I was surprided by Nigeria being before Russia.I thought not too many people had access to Internet there.
