Crystal Studded Headphones: Love or Leave?

A majority of you were not feeling the bling desk accessories whatsoever, so I'm wondering if you think these Swarovski Fashion Rocks headphones are tacky as well? The difference with
these bedazzled headphones is that they are encrusted with real Amethyst Crystals, making them uber extravagant. When I saw the pink ones on Born Rich, I immediately thought—yowzas! But the purple I can definitely handle. For around $2,404 you can get yourself a pair, which come in a luxury box and small carrier bag. Putting the hefty price aside, are you loving these crystal studded headphones?

Generally prefer Skull Candy, but those are good too I'd get purple though not pink.

These are so fun to look at. I don't mind looking at crystals all day. Except this is something i probably would never buy.

I'm not a fan of bling in any form. Personally, I prefer simple, not extravagant / expensive. However, I gotta' agree with katedavis -- these would be cool if I were DJing, especially under black lighting.

They sure are pretty, but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on them. Just give me a good quality pair of plain headphones.

I don't know. Function always trumps form for me, so I'd spend more on headphones that sounded better, but not more for just better aesthetics. Both would be nice, but above all else they have to be practical. I can see my hair getting caught in these, them scratching surfaces they're slid across, the crystals falling out and creating choking hazards or at minimum a throat discomfort for my cats, and a myriad of other unpleasant scenarios.
