Create Your Own Funky iPod Case

Sometimes the coolest iPod cases I find are those that have been made with a little bit of tender-loving homemade care. If you want to learn how to make your very own iPod case like the one below check out Craftster, a site where you'll find step-by-step, easy to understand instructions to help you get your craft on. The sewing savvy artist that made this case also includes iPod measurements and other great tips to make it as "seamless" as possible. Now if only I knew my way around a sewing machine, I could whip up one of these colorful and crafty cases!

I would love to have a case like this for my iPod!! I might have to try it. Sewing machines are scary though... I'd rather handsew things! :D

i sewed through my finger in home economics in high-school and wasn't allowed to finish the class...i haven't touched a sewing machine since...dangerous, haha!!

This is perfect for me because I have the original ipod and it came out before everyone started making cool cases. Now if only I could find a certain geeky someone to help me change the ipod battery like they promised me they would months ago...

Geek, sewing machines are REALLY easy. All you do is push the pedal and guide the fabric. I have made a few ipod cases myself, they really do get a lot more attention than the ones in the store. The one thing different I would do is to not do the plastic and just get the screen protectors. It might look a little more polished.
