Cover Flow-Imitating iShelf: Love It or Leave It?

Why should Cover Flow only exist electronically? The concept design for the iShelf is the ultimate old-school-goes-new-school CD storage and display solution.

I've pretty much gone completely digital with my music collection, but I do still have a few CDs knockin' around because of their sentimental value — probably the same amount that I'd need to fill up the iShelf and feel like I was looking at a real-life version of my iPod.

What do you think of the iShelf?

I don't think it's a practical way to store anything, but if you just want to show off your music, why not?

Leave it because I have tons of CD's ( I actually don't do digital music I prefer having something to hold on to;) and I don't keep my CD's in their cases anyway. I have a book for my CD's

I like it...but I thought that there would be some wheel thing, so that you can store more CDs on it, and then somehow turn it to choose which one you want...

Nah. I've gone digital. I don't CDs anymore. I don't even own that many DVDs anymore! Shelving CDs is so '90s.

I think it's a nice idea, but it would be useless to me...I'd need about a million of those, haha. Maybe one day if I make my own personal CD room and just have those on shelves going around my walls
