Is It Wrong to Want a Phone Watch?

If I were to describe my favorite gadget from when I was younger, it would have to have been Penny's wrist watch from Inspector Gadget that also doubled as a videophone, a laser beam, a magnet, and a small computer. What geek girl wouldn't want that?! Although we are a ways off from incorporating lasers and full blown computers in our watches (and who would want that anyway?), we have had the pleasure of seeing an uprising of the phone watch combo. Is it wrong to want one of these for my birthday every year, and shed a little tear 'cause I never get one? Take a look at the coolest (and some not so cool) phone watches I could find.

Depends on the watch. I always liked Penny in Inspector Gadget. Though I secretly wanted a shoe phone like Max had in Get Smart.

Wow, this is the first time bluetooth (for a phone) has actually made sense to me. (talking "hands free" and holding/being responsible for holding onto a phone? stupid) Of course! Wow. I kinda want one cuz then my phone would always be on me and I would feel like a secret agent.

I've actually had the chance to try a couple models out. I have to say I would just pass. While awesome in the idea to be a watch the doesn't weigh down your whole arm it has to be pretty small, and that usually means hard to use. They just were not my cup of tea. I always wanted Penny's book. :)
