I always loved chemistry! This Cocktail Chemistry Set ($36) reminds me of those days in a lab coat, only this time I'm mixing up delicious spirits (responsibly, of course!).

5I used to keep 50 mL beakers around the kitchen for shot glasses a lot when I had to take chemistry courses. They all ended up walking away as gifts for people that really wanted them.

10I've been wanting a mad scientist party for ages. If you look at Target's halloween stuff you can find plastic test tubes and beakers pre filled with drink mix and rim sugar. They even have little gummy brains (or eyeballs) to freeze into ice cubes or put in drinks!

12haha we did this once for a party. stole test tubes and test tube holder from the chemistry dept to use for a party and walked around so everyone could take shots. really cute!

14well i think that this isn't so far fetched. think about all the bars that we've gone to where they have shot girls carrying around trays of beekers with liquor in them. so this is kind of cute if it's your thing!

18I bought this for my hubby a few months ago and he was immediately transported back to his geeky days of youth when he actually had a chemistry set just like it. The test tubes and beaker are glass and the frame is metal so really the only thing that's plastic is the shaker, but we have two other metal shakers. I ordered ours from Perpetual Kid.
