A night at the Opera and Yale acceptance stress — it was a nice mix of regular teen and privileged teen on last night's Gossip Girl. some schools do send admission notifications via email and i was also able to check my admission status on their website

6/7. I got the one about the opera music wrong. Couldn't remember. The cell phone and other gadget shots are always fun, but I so loved the outfits displayed on this episode, especially those gorgeous coats and the mock schoolgirl outfits.

That's why I thought they were checking their e-mail inbox. I've never had to refresh to get new texts, it just pops up. PLus I'm sure those kids can afford to get the everything plan that includes internet and e-mail access.

Didn't they send the acceptance via e-mail? It makes more sense than a text. Plus that's why she had them 'refresh' and why Blair said the font was too small and she had to check it on a real computer. Right? Or am I nuts?
