Cell Phone Couple Cake Topper: Love or Leave?

If you're getting married, then I imagine you're spending a lot of time on your cell phone, but this much time?

These cake toppers are for the kind of geeks who are literally attached to their phones, so much so that their cake-gracing avatars must have them, too. I hope they're at least talking to each other and that this is not a new trend — I don't want to hear about exchanged vows via text message! It's not every day I tell inanimate objects to get off the phone, but come on (although they might be cute on a Kindle cake). What do you think?

this fits perfect for us to as we me over the phone and relied on it alotdue to distance but doesnt mean we dont have time for each other as very rarely on phone now as we live to together now

This was a perfect topper for us. We met at work at a cell phone company so it was fitting. Not because we didn't talk to eachother!

okay, I have also been in a long distance relationship with my fiance for the past 4 years and cell phone was our only connection. If you understood how hard it is to keep a strong relationship that long over the phone, you would want to tell your story with these cute cake toppers too. so all you haters need to just shut up. i would LOVE to have these on my cake, except i would have the groom on the top and the bride at the bottom so it looked like they were talking to eachother.

I searched for these as well. My fiance and I have been in a long distance relationship for 5 years and the majority of our time together is spent on the phone rather than in person (although we have that time as well LOL). I think they are perfect for us as they tell our story...just like cake toppers should. They are personal touches. LOVE THEM! Most of you are seeing them as negative. I really don't see that at all.

Believe it or not I actually SEARCHED for these. I plan on using them for my wedding cake topper. I met my fiance several years ago, through a text message. I never imagined I'd find my best friend and future husband! Considering our unique way of meeting, I think this is the perfect wedding cake topper for us.

this is practical for a bridal shower or bachlorette party cake! it's right up there with that other topper (with the groom's ready to bolt) LOL!! also those "ball and chain" garters (if you're a "prison break" fan0.....for a wedding cake, i'll just settle for the traditional bride and groom topper.

they're witty but maybe more as a joke at an engagement party among close friends.... definitely NOT on the wedding cake! but the figures themselves are really cute. it's hard to find ones that aren't too plastic-y or just plain ugly. :)

are you serious? like anyone wants to be tortured further at a wedding by a bride and groom who should really be taking vows to their phones and not each other. that's okay. i'm gonna say leave'em bob.

I don't have a problem with funny cake toppers but I feel like this one more says "We're a-holes!" more than it says "We're funny!"

I would definitely get a humorous tech topper like this, probably a custom one with a traditional Indian bride and groom playing X-BOX together.

Hells no. I won't my cake topper to be traditional or to match with my theme. To me, this cake topper makes a couple seem like they are too busy for other.
