Cell Phone Camera Tip: Remember Where You Parked

Your cell phone camera is not just for making sure you get proof of celebrity sightings; you can exploit this feature of your cell phone for simple, everyday things, like using it to capture appointment cards.

Today's tip is simple but lifesaving: When you park in a large parking structure, like at the airport, take a photo of the lot's place marker (like where it says "A2", for example).

If there isn't anything like that to mark your spot, then take a pic of any nearby landmarks. Never feel like the idiot who lost her car again!

This is a fantastic idea! My sister and I do something like this when we're trying to find each other (if we're shopping or something). We send pics of where we are.

I actually did this last week! I had my iPhone, and I was in LA and I parked in this huge parking lot, so I took a photo, and then was able to get their quickly.

you know, this is a great idea. for me - i usually text myself to let me know where i've parked and that's always done it but this could be really helpful too. that way you can get a good vantage point of where your car is if it's a huge parking lot.
