Coming to market in Summer 2013 is Sharp's ICC Purios, a combination of Ultra HD (no longer called 4K by the company, but, yes, it's still four times a 1080p display) resolution and integrated cognitive creation (ICC) image processor. ICC, a technology developed with I-cubed Research Center, is meant to actually reproduce the cognitive process of the human brain, replicating the experience of looking at a real object on the screen, making the display look sharper. Having received THX 4K display certification, no word yet on how much the uncannily realistic TV will cost.
