Meet Jabra Revo: Ultraplush, Multitouch Headphones

Jabra's headphones had us at "on-ear memory foam padding."

Jabra's headphones had us at "on-ear memory foam padding." We first tried the Danish audio company's Jabra Revo ($199) and the NFC-enabled Jabra Revo Wireless ($249) at this year's CES, where it was love at first listen, and now they're available for purchase.

The headphones aren't only comfy — they're durable, too. The aluminum frame and flexible shatter-proof headband are made for heavy wear and tear. Steel side hinges allow the headset to collapse, so it fits compactly in a purse or backpack.

When it comes to tech specs, the Revo headsets boast some impressive features. The right earphone is touch enabled, allowing listeners to control volume, skip tracks, and redial the phone using their fingertips. The Revo also pairs with Jabra's Sound App for iOS and Android, which uses Dolby Digital Plus technology to create deep bass and robust sound. A comfortable, immersive music experience is exactly what we expect from the over-the-ear headphones we use day in and day out — and Jabra might just be our new top pick.

At CES in January, Samsung unveiled the biggest TV of the show with the S9 Ultra High Definition (UHD is formerly know as 4K), an 85-inch display, designed in what the company called an "unprecedented" TV design, the Timeless Gallery. Raised off the ground within a metal frame, with another accent bar above the display, it's certainly not something we've seen in TVs before. Now, two months after the TV's reveal, Samsung has announced the price of the S9: $39,999 with preorders opening at the end of March on samsung.com.

According to Samsung, the S9 includes proprietary technology that will seamlessly convert HD content from current devices to the UHD display and offer audio six times better than today's standard television sets. So, with the pricing now announced, do you have a spare $40 grand burning a hole in your pocket?

Go Wireless With Adapt, the Bluetooth Headphone Adapter

We've seen a lot of wireless doodads in our day, but none cut the cord quite like Outdoor Tech's Adapt ($40).

We've seen a lot of wireless doodads in our day, but none cut the cord quite like Outdoor Tech's Adapt ($40). The Bluetooth-enabled adapter with a built-in mic clips on to clothing and lets you talk on the phone or listen to music from a Bluetooth device up to 30 feet away.

Sure, you're still wired to the device through your headphones, but Adapt lets you stash your device in a safe place, like an enclosed backpack pocket, while you're using headphones — perfect for hitting the slopes or going out for a bike ride. Avid teleconferencers can also use the adapter to set down their smartphones, take a call, and walk away (well, up to 30 feet).

Amazon user Win even suggested that the Adapt can be used to add Bluetooth functionality to a car stereo by connecting the device to a car's auxiliary port.

Adapt is extremely portable at 1.24 x 0.63 x 1.75 inches and has nine hours of talk/listen time. Outdoor Tech claims that the device features noise suppression, echo elimination, and duplex sound to provide the clearest audio quality possible. Is this gadget something you'd be likely to use?

Technology, Meet Fashion: Rebecca Minkoff For Stellé Speaker Clutches

Pastels and use of the word "kiss" do not a gadget for women make, a belief Stellé Audio used in the creation of a line of portable speakers that leave the standard white/black aluminum design of tech accessories looking downright severe.

Pastels and use of the word "kiss" do not a gadget for women make, a belief Stellé Audio used in the creation of a line of portable speakers that leave the standard white/black aluminum design of tech accessories looking downright severe. The Stellé Speaker Clutches are designed to look like they walked straight off the runway, draped in luxury materials like woven leather and snakeskin, but with an added bass boost.

We had a chance to experience the Bluetooth-powered sounds of the clutches in Las Vegas during CES and heard unexpectedly rich sounds bursting from the speakers that we paired easily to our iPhones. The clutches can also be connected to devices via USB and 3.5mm stereo cables and include a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for up to 15 hours of playback. With a removable strap, the speaker clutch is meant to be shown off, worn like a purse, or removed and placed in prime tabletop viewing at a party.

With a starting price tag at $300, it's definitely a luxury addition to an audiophile's life. The company expects to announce its first retail partners this February. Take a look at the Stellé flagship and Rebecca Minkoff accessory lines in the gallery, and share your opinion on the fashion and tech collaboration.
