"Brave" by Jennifer Lopez Available on USB Flash Drive

It looks like Jennifer Lopez is going to be one of the first major recording artists to test drive a new way of purchasing music — on a USB drive. According to Luxist, luxury phone experts Gresso have teamed up with various music companies to offer full albums on flash drives. The first of the 'wooden' USB drives includes JLo's new album Brave, which costs a whopping $70. Wondering why so much? The "Adam and Eve" drive is made from African Mahogany or African Blackwood, includes 1GB of memory and is presented in an exclusive gift box. Let's just hope the mini rhinestones are real diamonds!

I seem to be one of the few "Brave" enough to say, I like it and I'm going to buy it. I love JLo. She disappeared for a few years, evidently got bad advice, released that awful CD in total Spanish and has to ignore her husband's opinion. Say what you will but Diddy did wonders for her. That's when she was at her best musically. This is her chance to get back in or get left behind.

I'm not a JLO fan, but that is a clever marketing idea I must say I'm not sure whether USB could ever replace CD's the way DVD's have replaced VHS these past few years.

The album isn't worth $9.99 let alone $70. Thank God for Rhapsody. The drive looks nice but I am sure it's not good for anything else.

i always lose my usb drives so i wouldnt spend taht much on one even if it has music on it

This isn't as new as they claim. I attended a Barenaked Ladies concert *two years* ago, where they had their holiday CD and some other tunes for sale on a flash drive, I think it was $20 (but may have been $30). In their usual humorous style, it was marked as "Barenaked on a Stick"! They were also selling downloads of that night's show, available through their web site with the assigned access code about a week later, for $20. Good deal for everyone!
