Xbox Music is the newest kid on the music services block, having replaced Microsoft's Zune in early October. Windows 8 and RT users clearly win with the $10/month or $100/year subscription pass and access to over 30 million songs (versus iTunes' 26 million). Xbox gamers, on the other hand, need to purchase Xbox Gold in addition to the Xbox Music Pass, which is really too bad.
Xbox Music is the first service allowing subscribers to stream and purchase music right from the digital catalog, but it's still only available for Xbox, Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, and Windows RT.
