Every year, TIME magazine releases its list of the 100 most influential people in the world, and it's scattered with military heroes, presidents (past and present), entertainers, and do-gooders. Although this year's list is low on the female geek quota (where my geek girls at!?), it does include one tech fan who we know and love: Ashton Kutcher.

With Ashton hanging alongside other technology notables like Steve Jobs and my favorite performance artist, Lady Gaga, Sean "P Diddy" Combs had the pleasure of telling us why the Twitter celeb is so influential:

What he and Demi do with Twitter is a good example. Most people use it to promote themselves, but he uses Twitter to connect, to strike up conversations, to send positive messages to the millions of people who read his words. This guy will show us the future. And it's gonna be a blast.

Can't say I disagree. Congrats, Ashton!
